Michael Wieden – Expert for Chronobiology in Human Resource Management and Occupational Health Management
At the core of my work is chronobiology in human resource management. My primary concern is to show the great potential for companies in the areas of absenteeism and cost reduction, fluctuation optimisation and improvement of the skilled labour situation when the internal clock finds its way into occupational health management. Chronotypes, sleep and sunlight are just as much a focus as the fact that this is a topic that concerns all 7.7 billion people on earth around the clock, 7 days a week. And thus also all employees of a company.
As a consequence, the preoccupation with mobile forms of work has almost inevitably resulted from my more than 18 years of work with chronobiology. However, since mobile work is not possible for every area, I developed Liquid Work®.
